Uniquely designed crop protection for kiwi fruit

Meet Loris and Manuel Berdondini from Zani Group farms and see their unique pergola shaped solution to safe-guard a 50 hectare kiwi orchard. This block features a curved pergola structure for plant support, a top anti-hail net, and side and front closures for insect protection.

This system was specifically engineered for efficiency: it can be opened and closed from the ground via a mechanism of ropes and cords. This design eliminates the need to lift personnel or use machinery to handle the nets, even on soggy ground, making operations significantly more practical.
