Choose this robust, proven system, tested to face the harshest conditions, to insure your fruit from damaging hail, sun and wind. You will achieve superior quality, better packout and increased class 1 yield for a profitable season every year.
A single extreme weather event can wipe out a season's income making this system a smart investment long-term. Research also shows this system reduces sunburn by up to 50 per cent.
This system comprises prestressed concrete poles, connected by steel cables and wires that are anchored to the ground. High-density polyethylene net is produced by manufacturing monofilament with a technique called leno weaving. This specially manufactured net has a rectangular 2.8mm x 8mm shape that does not change shape under hail load. The net is installed over the entire support structure and is proven to withstand hail weight stress.

RAIN COVER
Rain covers are made from a woven cloth that is then made water proof with a plastic layer coating the film. This high quality cover forms a crucial component of this extremely durable system to protect rain sensitive fruit from damage.
Manufactured by Valente in Italy, with a reputation for quality and clever design, this system is industry leading. Prestressed concrete poles are connected by steel cables and wires. Anti-rain covers are reinforced by placing poles closer together and anchoring them to the ground. Hoods are designed with a galvanized steel strip, for firm connection to the pole.
These rain covers are proven to protect sensitive crops for an affordable, low maintenance system that lasts more than a lifetime. Easily combine with anti-hail net for maximum protection.

WAYKI by Valente - cut labour hours and boost fruit quality
SEMI-AUTOMATIC RAIN COVER
Developed in Chile by Wayki and manufactured by Valente, the Wayki system is a patented, semi-automatic anti-rain cover for rain sensitive crops. Slashing labour hours to a minimum, a 1 hectare orchard can be covered in less than 1 hour.
This technology is an absolute game-changer prior to harvest when labour teams are busy and untimely weather can wipe out a season’s profits.
